The mi Flight Board app uses online data to provide status and track information for live flights. Select the airport by tapping the top left hand button in the navigation bar and then choose departures or arrivals by toggling the button in the top right hand corner of the navigation bar. The app then displays the status of all current flights departing or arriving at the airport. This is done in an old style split-flap departures bard. You can tap on any flight to get further detailed information on the flight. The app also provides an Air Traffic Control radar style map view. You can toggle between views by tapping the button in the bottom left hand corner of the toolbar. In the ATC radar view tap on any flight and a detailed flight view will appear on the screen.
To select an airport tap the top left hand button in the navigation bar. You can either search for an airport by name or by the three character IATA code if this is know; e.g. LHR or JFK. You can also search by airports near you by tapping the location services button in the top right hand corner of the view. If this button is showing as disabled please authorise the app to use location services in your settings.
Yes, in the settings view you can switch the animation off for the code shares or the flight board. Tap the button in the bottom right hand corner of the main view to access the settings view.
Yes, in the settings view you can switch the sound off or change the loudness. Tap the button in the bottom right hand corner of the main view to access the settings view.
Please check the settings for the app to ensure that the app is authorised to use location services. Go to your phone Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services and ensure that the app is correctly authorised.
